Yes, The Restless Natives are going to South Bend. Very soon, the Restless Squaw will begin hosting a blog for MomsMichiana.com, a parenting website with all kinds of resources for moms and dads.
I'm very excited about this opportunity, and I'm thrilled to be introducing the tribe to the people in the greater South Bend/Mishawaka area. This is completely unrelated to the column and will be strictly a blog format. Which, you know, I love to do.
In addition to that, I've been asked to write an essay for their upcoming magazine, which is published six times a year. When that is published, I will link to it here on this blog.
Melissa Jackson, the editor of Moms Michiana, has been warm and welcoming, and I look forward to working with her. I am joining a team of seven other bloggers. One of them hosts a blog about adoption issues. One is a foodie. Another one authors a blog offering tips on saving money (very fitting), and several others are writing about their families and parenting issues.
So, I think the natives will fit right in with the team, don't you?
